Here, you can configure the delivery options that you use in your day-to-day operations. The sender can choose from the delivery options defined here when creating a consignment. A delivery option is a service method or additional condition that can be selected for the delivery of a consignment. It can specify, for example, the method, speed or location of delivery, or other special requirements.
A nickname can be assigned to each delivery option. If a nickname is provided, customers will see the delivery option under that name.
If you activate a Partner, that Partner’s own delivery options will be added to Deliveo’s own delivery options. These added delivery options cannot be deleted and their names cannot be changed, but an alias can be set for them. Clicking on the settings icon on the toolbar brings up a dialogue box where you can disable your own delivery options.
If a Customer selects a Partner delivery option when creating a consignment, the consignment is automatically assigned to a Partner. (It is not necessary to create a rule that assigns the consignment to a Partner as a condition of the delivery option.)
When creating a consignment via the API, the ‘Delivery option’ is not a mandatory field; you must therefore specify a default delivery option, which the system will use in such cases.
You can also assign a weight range to each Shipping option. If the weight of the consignment falls outside this range, the system will not allow the consignment to be created.
