Installation and access

Creating a new dispatch template
To create a new template:

Sender and recipient
In the Sender and Recipient fields, you can choose from the saved addressesAddresses The geographical addresses where the Courier will pick up or deliver the parcel. Specifying parcels
You can add one or more parcels to the template. For each parcel, you can specify:
- length;
- width;
- height;
- unit of measurement;
- weight;
- SKU.
To add the parcel:
- Enter the dimensions.
- Enter the weight.
- If necessary, enter the SKU.
- Click the + button.
The added parcels will appear on separate lines and can be deleted individually. The ‘Colli’ value shows the number of parcels added to the template.
Optional parameters
The following optional fields can be configured in the template:
- Optional parameter 1;
- Optional parameter 2;
- Optional parameter 3.
Optional parameters 1 and 3 can be enabled using a toggle switch. The value for Optional parameter 2 can be entered in a separate field.
Delivery option
In the Delivery option field, you can select the delivery option to be applied to the consignment. The selected option will be applied to every consignment created from the template.
Cash on delivery
For cash on delivery consignments, you can specify:
- the cash on delivery amount;
- the currency of the cash on delivery payment.

Reference number and comments
The following can be specified in the template:

Scheduling
You can select which days of the week the template should be scheduled for. The available days are:
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
You can select more than one day for a template.
Collection and delivery times
For the selected day, you can specify:
- a collection time slot;
- a delivery time slot.
Both time windows consist of a start and end time. At least one of the following must be specified:
- collection time slot; or
- delivery time window.
Both may be specified.
Saving a template
To save the template, click the Save button. Before saving, check:
- the customer;
- the sender;
- the recipient;
- the parcels;
- the delivery option;
- cash on delivery;
- the optional parameters;
- the scheduled days;
- time slots.
Managing dispatch templates
On the TimPa control panel, each template appears on a separate card. The card contains:
- the customer’s name;
- the sender;
- the recipient;
- the date of the last delivery;
- the scheduled date;
- a tick box;
- the ‘Edit’ button;
- a ‘Delete’ button.
If no mail has yet been sent using the template, the ‘Last run: Never’ indicator is displayed.
Editing a template
To edit the template, click on the edit icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the card. The following can be modified in the editor:
- the customer;
- the sender;
- the recipient;
- the parcels;
- the options;
- cash on delivery;
- the reference number;
- the comment;
- the schedule;
- time slots.
You can save your changes by clicking the Save button.
Deleting a template
To delete a template, click the delete icon in the top right-hand corner of the card. Deleting the template will remove it. This has no retroactive effect on messages created previously.
Selecting templates
Before creating messages, select the templates you wish to use. You can select multiple templates at once.
The ‘Invert Selection’ button:
- selects templates that were not previously selected;
- deselects any templates that were previously selected.
Creating mailings
You can create multiple mailings for a specified period based on the selected templates.
- Select the desired templates.
- Click the ‘Create mailings’ button.
- Enter the ‘From this date’ date.
- Enter the ‘Until’ date.
- Click the ‘Start’ button.
The system will only create mailings for those days within the start and end dates that are included in the schedule of the selected templates. For example, if a template is scheduled for Mondays, mailings will be created for the Mondays falling within the specified period. The ‘Cancel’ button closes the window without creating any mailings. Before starting the process, check the date range, as the system may create several mailings at once.
Calendar view
The ‘Switch to calendar view’ button displays the templates in a weekly calendar. The templates are placed in the appropriate column according to their scheduled date. The calendar card shows:
- the customer’s name;
- the sender;
- the recipient.
The calendar view provides an overview of which recurring mailings are due on each day of the week. Click the ‘Switch to task view’ button to return to the card-based list of templates.
Common errors
The template cannot be saved
Check:
- that you have selected a clientThe Customer (bill payer) pays the Courier Service for the delivery of parcels. You can also be the sender / recipient of the shipment. He/she uses the Deliveo customer interface.;
- that you have entered the sender and recipient;
- that there is at least one parcel;
- that you have selected at least one date;

Items are not being scheduled for the correct days
Check:
- the days selected in the template;
- the start and end dates specified when creating the template;
- whether the desired date falls within the specified period.
No dispatch is being generated from a selected template
Check:
- that the template is actually selected;
- whether the scheduled date falls within the specified period;
- that the template contains all the necessary data.
Too many mailings have been created
The system creates mailings for the scheduled days across the entire specified period from all selected templates. Before creating any more, check:
- the number of selected templates;
- the start and end dates;
- the weekly schedule of the templates.
Incorrect parcel details are being applied to the consignment
Open the template for editing, check the size, weight and SKU of the parcels, then save the changes.
An incorrect cash-on-delivery or delivery option is applied to the consignment
Check the following in the ‘Options’ section of the template:
- the cash on delivery amount;
- the currency;
- the delivery option;
- the optional parameters.
