The Deliveo Go module is a simplified form for creating consignments. There is no need to enter the sender’s details when calling a courierThe person who delivers Shipments to the recipient.; the sender’s details are always taken from the customer’s information. We recommend using this module in situations where a consignment needs to be created quickly, but it is not necessary to enter all the details.
The Deliveo GO restaurant module uses the login details for the Customer Portal. Consequently, a Customer Portal subscription is required to use Deliveo GO. The Deliveo GO module does not need to be installed or configured; it is ready to use straight away.
When creating a delivery (calling a courierThe person who delivers Shipments to the recipient.), the restaurant can only enter the following details (mandatory fields are in bold):
- The recipient’s name (searchable via speech recognition)
- Recipient’s postcode, town/city, street, house number, building, floor, door number
- Recipient’s telephone number and email address
- Comments (can be dictated using speech recognition)
- Number of items in the consignment (each item 0.5 kg, 25 x 25 x 25 cm)
The module features a voice-based search function, allowing you to search for the recipient’s name amongst previously recorded recipients. There will always be 1 parcel. To start the voice-based search, click on the microphone icon. You must enable the website’s access to your microphone in your browser settings. We recommend using a tablet.
Creating an extra-fast consignment
Contrary to what might be expected, this module does not require you to enter either the recipient’s name or their telephone number. If this information is not provided, ‘XXXXX’ will appear in place of the recipient’s name and ‘00000000’ in place of the telephone number in the dispatch list.
